can you send copies or do they have to be the orginals?

why would you send anything to the IRS except for your tax forms?

If you are being audited you go IN PERSON and never send the IRS anything. In those cases you need originals.

I am filing form 3903? I think it is. It is a moving expense form that allows you to deduct moving expense even if you don't itemize. It says that you must send paper proof of expenses in with the form

they're as good as gone forever.

Never didn't itemize so was unaware of doing moving expenses outside of that context.
