I just spoke with my salesman who informed me that the Audi plant will be closing for a week or two so that it can be changed to the new body style. I was told my car would be built on week 2, wouldn't it already be built by now!! He's going to call me back later today to check my status. Hope the news is good.

Cameron,<br> What did you hear about week 2? Jim H and my salesman, {I have my order number}, said week 2 is the start of 99.5's. I just spoke with my dealer again and he confirmed this. He said 99's last week to be made is week 1, and as soon as the plant reopens, it will start 99.5's. I was told I was getting one of the first 99.5's but now my expected date to pick up is MARCH!!! On my order print out it says it's a 99.5. Thanks for any info.<br> Karen

Within hours of the announced changes I ordered an A4. A printout I obtained last week has this car to be produced the first week of 1999, however, the status of the car is "C" (kinda strange... Could you be making the same mistake as the prinout?). If you find the time, call your regional executive or Auburn Hills to obtain more information. The bottom line is production of the 99.5 A4 1.8TQ will start week five of 1999.

Mines a 2.8 not 1.8. Maybe mine will be first! Maybe 1.8's ARE being built on week 5.<br> Well, I can hope, can't I???<br> Karen
