Got a quote to have my car aligned since I'm going to put my suspension on this weekend. <p>** $210.00 ** They claim quattro cars take 3 hours to align. <p>Lucky, they have a special this month which he's gonna extend until tuesday for me for $90<p>Anybody else been quoted in this neighborhood or is he yankin' my chain?

Light detonation (4-5 clicks) around 3500 rpm under heavy throttle and again around 5500 rpm. I also have a slight boost pressure oscillation between 2500-3200. Otherwise it runs absolutely fantastic.<p>My software update to fix the problems will be here in a few hours.

Dropped my car off this morning at the dealer (got a loaner -- blue Jetta GL!) and asked him how long it would take to do an alignment, as I have suspension upgrades coming soon and will need this. Service Advisor told me about an hour. I think Steve's guess of just over $100 is about right (we go to the same dealer)<p>Sharon

Yup,<br> They charged me $260 - Four hours. Dummy me didn't bother getting an estimate. I've heard also that to truley do a good job on the A4 takes a long time, more that most other cars.<p>I've learned my lesson.<p>Drew
