I've been to many a homebrew festival and have yet to see anyone in pain if they stuck with drinking unfiltered beer ( I was the designated driver most times ).

how the heck can that be true? Hangovers are from your body still being in alcohol-mode after its all been dealt with. So how can unfiltered beer change that?

You get a hangover when you don't drink enough water with your alcohol. Beer is like 85% water. I always get my hangovers from vodka because I can't stop drinking it.

I don't drink any beer I can't read a newspaper through. Which probably explains why I've never had a hangover from drinking beer.

...and if you're lucky the infamous beer sh!tz too. Switch to a real beer or at least a microbrew if you like the light-colored stuff. They have higher alcohol content than Miller/Coors/Bud/etc.

And the water in beer isn't going to keep you hydrated. You'll need to drink water separately.
