Don't have many interesting Boston photos... although I do have one of airport security with M-16s that I'll have to post.... that was nothing unique though on the trip.

for a cruise on the Norweigion Majesty. As our ship left Boston harbor, it was guarded on each side by two Boston Harbor Security boats. The fast security boats would approach other boats that would come near our cruise ship. The guys on the security boats had machine guns in their arms and looked ready for action. It was quite a show as the security boats zipped around our cruise ship greeting every single boat that came near us. Although I don't think the weekend sailers passing by were amused while they watched the security boats approach them with machine guns.

That kind of freaked me out. They were at heightened alert due to the joint chiefs leaving the capital building. Realized that if I decided to just run across the road at the wrong time they'd tackle me or shoot me... or just run me over.
