i have macromedia flash 5, although i've never used it, i want to make a simple swf file just like the one at http://bunnyguts.com/arnold.htm (see link at bottom of page), except bigger. I have about 80 more soundbytes in .wav form, i made them into a webpage s when youy click the graphic it sounds, using javascript, but the page is so huge it crashes most peoples computers. In flash, how do i create a bunch of buttons and then have it when you click on the buttoins it plays a certain sound? Also, how hard would it be to do this in visual c++ or vb, i have the programs, but have never programmed in the visual interface.

by the way, these soundbytes are used to make prank calls, if you haven't heard them type in Schwarzenegger calls in napster and download a bunch of them, they are hilarious, especially the gateway one.

thanks,
matt<ul><li><a href="http://bunnyguts.com/arnold.htm">this is what i want it to be like</a></li></ul>

In a nutshell, 1. you make the graphic 2. make it a symbol 3. import the sound 4. assign the sound to the mouse up on the image symbol. Here are some links to Flash resources. Maybe they'll help.<ul><li><a href="http://www.archimedestomb.com/macromedia.html">http://www.archimedestomb.com/macromedia.html</a</li></ul>

assuming u know how to make a button.....

1)on the button....go to edit
2)look at the 4 frames....up over down and hit
3) import the sound file(s)
4) insert a keyframe (F6) in either up, over, down, or hit.
5) drag the sound clip onto the stage (drawing board)
6) test

hope that helps. Good luck.

You can probably make it a little smaller if you mess with the audio settings in the publish setting area, but 470 isn't too bad with all of that audio.
