View Full Version : I love my A4. But, MAN, the front of the Jag X-Type is hot!! I can't wait to see it in person. Also, too many trim lines contribute to that busy look. I prefer the clean lines of an Audi's exterior. SuspendedLikeaMoFo. 04-12-2001, 08:54 PM Those aren't all lines on the hood of the car - some of them are reflections, and are decieving from this picture - the reflection of the pillars from behind). It looks to be promisiong car. I'm just glad it doesn't have the overengineered and bland look of th S-type front facia... SuspendedLikeaMoFo. 04-12-2001, 08:56 PM looking at that pic of the car from the front, anyone else think it looks remarkable similar to the Lincoln LS? I know it is built on a different platform, but look at the grille - it looks all too similar to that of the LS.... Tom from Vancouver 04-12-2001, 10:10 PM X-Type looks nicer than S-Type both inside and out. I found S-Type's interior plasticky and a bit too much "Continential" on the tailights. X-Type has addressed S-Type's criticism on the interior. Exterior wise, it looks like a miniature XJ-series. Very neat. Despite X-Type is a promising car, I still prefer B6 A4's styling. I don't know why, I just love'em. :-) JayP 04-13-2001, 03:51 AM JoeO 04-13-2001, 05:28 PM That car could have been designed in the mid-80's and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Just my opinion. However, I do like the S-series. It's different and sort of stands out. SuspendedLikeaMoFo. 04-13-2001, 11:39 PM |
