Regarding the Audi S4 xenon headlamp/clear turn signal assembly. Assuming this unit were available in the North America, what would people seriously be willing to pay for this from an A4 aftermarket distributor ?
Your responses are appreciated as I am working on trying to offer these lights in the North American market.
Thanks for your help.
Ron

LLTek has been promising to import the S4 lamps for almost a year now, with still no indication that they will be available anytime soon. They started a waiting list a few months ago, but I have not heard anything else. I know that there are lots of other people here that would be interested.
As for the price, I would hope that they would not be too much more than $1000 for a set.
Tom Halter
98.5 2.8 QM Pearl/Onyx
Anxiously awaiting Xenon.

My understanding is the Xenon's are brighter than Halogens, but is the light white or blue? I have seen some cars with a bright bluish light and I find them very annoying! Or is this just a blue bulbs which is the latest trend?
Paul

Xenon's are brighter than Halogens and light a little blue (no blue bulb). Pretty weird the
first time because it slightly modify the surounding halo color of lighted objects, specially white cars but you get used to it
and after a while you do not notice anymore...
others in front of you notice much much more ;-)
Greetings Laurent

I'm on Lltek's waiting list. BUT, I plan to be in Europe in January and I may look up some aftermarket parts people who I know and see what's happening w/ the S4 lights. I'd be interested if you could arrange for a distributor to bring them over though- it make make my luggage easier to carry!
Rob A4 1.8TQT slobbering for Xenons...

I don't think they are gong to be cheap.. I believe the A6 units are already $1700 for both units.. And also because of the demand for these unit vendors and distributors are definitely going to jack up the price...
I am already on two waiting list already and still haven't heard from either of them.. Last I spoke to one of them they are having problem getting the parts from Hella..
For those interested LLtek has a waiting list and also Art.Xenon which is an importer of xenon lights for all different cars.. The number for them is (516) 624-0094...
Dmak 1.8TQMS

I am the person that works for Hella. We are currently working with LLTek on the S4 HID lamps. It shouldn't be too much longer before they will be available.
I am extremely happy with the set I installed in my A4. The difference is incredible. Install took about 15 minutes.
Ron
