I've only seen the seat piping on leather 2.8's. I, most likely, will be purchasing a 1.8T. Does the Advance Ecru leatherette come with piping? If so, is it blue or black piping?
Thanks.

Jim, I have posted that I think my 96 Ecru interior (w/europa blue) has not been topped since IMO. I personally find the Gray atmosphere to be really bad. That's just my taste. My question is, how does the gray sell? Also, you said Ecru/Blue only with Santorin. How about white. Same with Ecru/Black, what's better with Cactus Green? Or Melange? How did that Cognac sell? I thought it looked pretty good with Black.
What about Jaspis? Onyx or Ecru? Just wondering.
Bill

The grey interior is the biggest seller, because it looks the best with the greatest number of interiors (except silver IMHO).
The problem with, say, ecru/black in a Cactus car is that you have three SHARPLY contrasting colors in and around a small car. Again, THIS IS MY OPINION, and by no means the final word! A cactus car really looks best with grey. Cognac was REALLY nice; they should never have replaced it with Terracotta. They've already replaced Terracotta with "Clay" in the 99.5s because Terracotta was a sales problem. Now, interestingly, I've seen/sold quite a few Brilliant and Racing green A6s with Terracotta leather, and those cars are knocked-out.
