He's really made huge improvements in his driving, and really showed some good runs this season. Schumaker is still the best driver in F1 currently, IMO, but he had some bad luck. Besides, he's probably the only one who could race half a race with only 5th gear, and come in 2nd! Since I have not been paying too much attention to who's going where, do you know who is taking Eddie's spot at Ferrari? I would vote for either Frentzen or Ralph Schumaker myself. Not F1, but very sad news about Greg Moore! :-( Charles MaTTK 11-01-1999, 03:09 AM Stewart and Ferrari swapped drivers with Barrichello (sp?) going to Ferrari next season. I was pulling for Mika to win (gotta love that cool Icelandic exterior). Greg Moore's death was certainly a shame. A great driver who genuinely seemed like a nice guy as well. MaTTK jasont 11-02-1999, 03:55 AM - I appreciate is candor in this day of drivers without personality. - I wanted to see Ferrari finally win the drivers championship and the shake up it would cause because their 30 million dollar man wasn't the one that gave it to them. - I always pull for the underdog. BTW I'm afraid to say it but, I don't think Eddie is going to do very well with the Stewart/Jaguar. jasont 1.8tqms |
