I'm looking for any information on the release of the '99 A4. I ordered one several weeks ago and am anxiously awaiting arrival. As of last week the dealer said that 99s had not been released and were at the port in Houston. However, no one seems to know the release date or shipping times from Houston to Utah.<p>Anyone have an update on this?<p>Thanks in advance!

I think they had 99 Avants, because the salesperson said that there were no 98s left. I don't know if that was just sedans or everything. I didn't buy the car yet; I may look at another dealer because I'm not happy with the service that I received when I walked in the door. They weren't even going to let me drive it, but when I told them I had just spent 2 hours at BMW, they had me in a 99 2.8Q in 5 minutes. A bit shady, i must say. <br>Took delivery of a 99 QMS 2 wks ago from Carlson in Palo Alto CA at 6% over invoice. This is a first class dealership....knowledgeable and courteous. The 99s were released from Houston about the 3rd week of Sept. Shipping shouldn't take more than a week or two. Cars will sometimes get re-routed to dealers with more clout, so stay on your dealer's case.
