Thats right, all quattro versions of the 1.8T A4 to come into Australia will have the 180hp/132Kw and 173ftlbs/235Nm motor in them. This gives the seadn a 0-100kmh(0-62mph) figure of 7.6 seconds and the Avant achieves the same in 7.8 seconds.<p>Unfortunately, accordinf to a well respected source, this is not retro-fittable to earlier A4s....probalbly more of a will not rather than a cannot!!<p>Graham

Graham, when they do let me know and I will pay you to remove the ECU from a totaled(wrecked) or upgraded car.

Some have suggested that the 180hp 1.8T selling overseas (from the U.S.) just has an upgraded ECU and nothing else, but I'm sure I read somewhere that it has an upgraded intercooler and turbo. Can anyone confirm?
