Can't believe no one can put a deal together. After some strong showings....

Remember Sato last year, passing Alonson in his McClaren?

I'm conflicted about that. On the one hand, I like under-dogs and hated to see the likes of Minardi, Jordan and Tyrrell go the way of the dodo. But technology IS expensive and let's be honest, we all watch the races for the tenological superiority to other series. It's a double-edged sword unfortunately. I'll miss Super Aguri.

season to get top grade financing? Were they afraid Sato was gonna kick their ass? I also wonder, now that there are only 20 cars on the grid, will the qualifying format be changed?
Stay tuned.
Gentlemen in F1 left when Jim Clark and Graham Hill died. Except for the Finns, of course. :)

Not permitted under the old "expired" Concorde agreement. Since there is no new agreement in place for '08 (which was supposed to allow it), the old agreement still stands and Prodrive got bumped out at the request of Williams. Or so goes the story.

Not sure why SA still gets to run as they use Honda chassis and everyone knows it. Maybe because they're not using the new/current/potentially competitive chassis. It was said that Prodrive would have be running the current McLaren chassis.

You really have to be a nut and/or have insane money to run a team nowadays.
