and packing what I could. Checked the helmet communicator charge and I'm done for today.

Sadly, I'm not sure of some of the features are working. I just did 5 laps of the Route 129 Rotary Circuit and it's not behaving as I would expect.

Car is at 97k miles. It's the DD and track whore....

Changed both. The fluid looked pretty bad too

Not sure how to get the little speakers into the helmet.

I've got to check out the loggers. Sounds cool, but it's beyond my budget.

Also going next saturday for a 1/2 day event.

It's about 90 minutes from home, ideal for one-day events....

Always a challenge, that car!

Cy stopped by around 10 with a grease gun (my trailer needed some attention) and his miata didn't have a trunk lid, and there was later a delay with the trailer. Hopefully he's got it all sorted out now...

Next big purchase is a HANS...

The communicator pads are a pain. I could only get one up under the padding, and the other I just tucked up between my ear and the padding. That speaker later failed, and I could hardly hear people thru the one remaining speaker (that was under all the padding).

I gave up and replaced it with a regular boom mic/speaker (aka student) config.

They're a pain. At one point I started to look at the new bluetooth motorcycle commuicators, but my worry is the student would just wander off with their half :-)

I did manage to roll back the fabric, remove a little pad, and set the speakers in. We'll see how it works in the real world.

Trying to figure out how to get all my stuff into the car and trailer. I'm heading out right now for more supplies (bungies and easy-up tent). I'm trying to figure out how to secure my tires to the trailer too. So far I'm working with a tow strap and ratchet, but it's not going so well.

Jeff: stop by before 3pm if you still need to use my laptop. Otherwise it'll have to wait until tomorrow morning. I've got to swing through Ayer on my way down to CT this afternoon.

I seem to have misplaced my ear plugs too...

The cement patches were horrendous. What amazes me is that lots of motorcycle races are run there.

I love the track. Hoping to figure out a way to do an event there...

Not sure how a bike can handle the transition especially under braking...
