PAT-SO-CAL!!!! J/K....uh, I'd really like to see Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart give it a shot. I hate Nascar tho.

He was Alain Prost's team mate for a while at Renault. That has to have been cool. Plus, I've had beers with him. He's a nice guy without a hint of ego. Oh wait, you mean CURRENT driver...Marco.

fossils by F1 standards

incidently, this is also my problem. The F1 teams are all passing on my resume due to my age, those FFs.

Marco needs to prove himself a bit more in IRL before being given any consideration IMO.

any serious attention. IRL and Champ Car are not held in extremely high regard by the F1 paddock

He's gonna be doing GP2 in the next year or so, but unless he totally dominate the series, and that's HIGHLY unlikely, he'll need to bring a metric ton of money with him.

the younger ones who haven't won a championship yet, Rahal did fairly well with the World series. Andretti probably has what it takes but needs more time in the seat.

(not to mention he fit in the car when he did the swap w/ JPM a few years ago...).

Coulthard is 6', 165lbs.

Scott Speed is 5'11, 160

Kubica is 6'1, 160

Ralf is 5"10, 160

Jenson 6'0, 163

Rubens 5'8, 174

Webber 6'1, 163

Wurz, 6'1, 163

And while I'm not sure I believe the published figures for Tony Stewart, he is listed as 5'9, 170... So if accurate, wouldn't be a total stretch. But I definitely don't think he'd be desirable, given his pudginess...

I'd vote Andretti. He's got the sponsors, and the look, not to mention the name.
