I am looking for a wire in the car and after months of search was told by a mechanic that the wire that I am looking for is the #3 wire on the T10i connector. Of course no word about where this connector is :-)
Any clues?
Thanks,
- Stan
I have schematics for the 1998 stock radio, and it shows a T10i connector. It's a 10-pin (obviously) black connector in the center console (probably behind the radio and climate controls). Pin 3 is listed as a black wire with a red stripe, and it eventually goes back through fuse 5 to the ignition/starter switch. From T10i the connection goes forward to a red wire which ends at pin 4 of connector T8a (black) which plugs into the radio.
I don't know if this is the only T10i connector, though.
Jim Meyer
'98 2.8QMS
