For a track n00b like me, it was a pretty mind-blowing experience.

I am amazed at how a race track like Laguna Seca is deliberately plotted; each corner has an objective and if you fail to meet or recognize those objectives, you get punished.

Thanks to those who gave me some tips in my previous post. they definitely came in handy. I did crash pretty hard into the inside wall on Turn 4 during the morning open lap seesion on the last day, but that even turned out to be a valuable learning experience.

A couple of guys mentioned Mike Miller in my previous post: he was there and is doing well. All the instructors were extremely helpful as were the mechanics.

I am definitely "hooked" now.

Pit lane. The 41 car was my replacement car after I crashed car 85 earlier in the morning.

When I took the MidOhio school a couple of years ago we had a $5000 deductible. One dude rolled his car, he cut a check and they threw him another set of keys.
