CBS (?) is going to show 4 F1 races this year, on tape delay. San Marino, Spain, European, and Canadian. There will also be 2 one-hour specials on the lifestyles of F1. Curiously, Speed will rebroadcast the races after CBS is done with them. The remaining races will be live on Speed as usual.

Why wouldn't CBS televise that one?

Maybe some golf.

Also who's doing the commentating for CBS?

Gadget, etc...

The only real positive I can see is that a) it will bring greater exposure to F1 and b) there might be a chance that we'll actually be able to see F1 in HDTV.
