I might be able to make it out for a little while. Do you need any help with setting up the car or are you just looking for extra folks to shoot the sh*t with?

some of those Friday test days are great because occasionally there are nearly no cars so you pretty much have the entire day and track to yourself for $150. I don't know if there's a race that weekend or what but I got the impression it was a completely open day because the next one said "race cars only".

I'm running in some equipment and just driving...we can't do anymore suspension tuning until I get the shocks rebuilt and revalved.

I got a room with one queen bed at the Sooper 8 for less than $35 a night. Can't beat that!

and they're on the "quiet" side of the freeway and you get your 5th night free.

Sure it's a dump but compared to the other Buttonwillow hotels, it's no worse and a bit quieter.

Friday:

"Pete, We are going to run 25A CW. A is the new section at the Offramp, longer and faster.

Les"

(drools)...sucks that I just put our biggest final-drive in the car anticipating a short track heh.
