check out skipbarber.com news and see Ashton Lewis,full-time Busch Series driver as he goes to a SBRS REGIONAL raceweekend and finishes a soso 5th and 3rd. Sure it maybe a while since he's been in a formula car but he's still a full-time pro driver going against guys that don't race for a living. Good job though Ashton, and good luck in Mexico and the Glen.

MS was less then impressive in the ROC. But then I suppose that can be down to he was just f&*king around.
Thats why it was so amazing for the last gen drivers to jump from series to series, cars to cars, weekend to weekend.

but more like a racing god.
His career couldn't be duplicated today. Even though there were (arguably) "better" drivers, look at all the series that he won races in!
And Graham Hill won Indy, The F1 championship AND LeMans!
"Andretti was already a Daytona 500 winner, Sebring winner, 2-time USAC champion and 4-time Indianapolis 500 competitor when he entered his first F1 race. It was in 1968 at Watkins Glen in a Lotus 49B, and it promised great things, to say the least. Much to the chagrin of his competitors he took pole position. Oh, sure, they said. Its his home track. Actually he had never driven at the Glen before. Unfortunately, in the race he DNFed as his Lotus more or less fell apart under him. He DNFed away his whole 1969 season, a grand total of 3 races. Of course, that year he was busy elsewhere, winning the 500, the USAC championship for a third time and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb."...

http://www.ddavid.com/formula1/mario_bio.htm</a

Ekstrom is killing him in what you would assume is the same car.
Thumps up to Kristensen though. And i think HH Frentzen is held back slightly by the Opel. Though he does spin a fair amount. First year I guess.
