I recently aquired a Acura RSX Type S that I'm going to use for D.E. events, etc (but will remain streetable) and would like to put a roll bar in it. I found a bolt-in 4 point bar from Autopower for this car (2 3/4 dia x .120 thick mild steel tubing all welded). I realize it is not the best set-up, but I reckon it's better than nothing...maybe? What do you folks think? TIA.

Cool car! The Autopower is a good idea. Just pad the top of the bar. Don't put anyone in the back seat though.

The DOM, removable cross-brace is still streetable and safe.

Have you ever seen where the bars go in an RSX or Teg? There is no way you can safely fit a passenger back there, rear cross brace or not.

it's still going to be used on the street. This keeps you from having to worry about smacking your head into the side of the rollcage.

Pad the main hoop though in either case.

It's like a 2 seater, only with lots of storage space.
