View Full Version : Opinions/insights on roll bars... Geza 07-02-2002, 02:50 AM I recently aquired a Acura RSX Type S that I'm going to use for D.E. events, etc (but will remain streetable) and would like to put a roll bar in it. I found a bolt-in 4 point bar from Autopower for this car (2 3/4 dia x .120 thick mild steel tubing all welded). I realize it is not the best set-up, but I reckon it's better than nothing...maybe? There is no way you can safely fit a passenger back there, rear cross brace or not. This keeps you from having to worry about smacking your head into the side of the rollcage. Pad the main hoop though in either case.
