Not exactly safe looking considering that runoff for one part is the track of another part of the course. I can't see them holding races here, but lapping days would be a blast.

What's funny is how quickly this was built. I remember "signing" a petition for it only 4 months ago.

damn tolls.

What I'm curious about is where the hell you place corner workers. There's so many damn corners for that little space.

I guess this is what happens when auto-xers design courses :P God forbid that someone lose their brakes or has a tire blowout. Get to write off a car then. Maybe you can just claim it as being stolen in Newark.

most sections are 2 cars width but the back section is soft sand and gets really rutted. Are you thinking rally-cross? You will be getting major air! =^D

contacted them about getting a weekend date for QCUSA in 2002. At least one weekend, if not two..

Will they be adding berms and other devices to stop cars from going straight at various corners?

they'll be made of sand from Abescon inlet. It's the first beach/track combo. You leave your car at the corner you go off in, and the corner worker sells you the $5 beach pass and lets you tan for the rest of the session.

Seriously, no idea. Haven't spoken to them except in voice-mails...

There are so many places on that track where a brake failure or fade (brain or brake) will put a car over into the other side of the loop. I'll be going next door to Rausch Creek...as soon as they finish building it :-(<ul><li><a href="http://rauschcreekracing.com/roadracing/roadracinglayout.php">A real track design :-)</a></li></ul>
