Did the research, there are 6 official races this year in my area.
Checked the rally classifieds and there's a 92 jetta, ice-race-prepped (emptied, full cage, ice tires) + lots of spare parts going for $650 your money ($1000 cnd). Also, a cloth suit is required...$80 racerwholesale.
Looks like I don't have to take the ice-racing class; my SOLO I license is ok. All I have to do is do 3 races in the newbie class and then I get my ice-racing license and can move on to sport/etc.
So what do you guys think? go for it? Or should I just stick to snowboarding this winter :)
Any costs I'm forgetting? I REALLY don't want it to take too much of my spring-mods budget..
regards,
Liam
