1- When I turn my steering wheel more than 45 degrees in either direction, something starts rubbing in the steering column. Anyone else have this or a solution?<p>2- When I accelerate slowly from a stop, I hear/feel a groan/shudder from the bottom of the car, seems like the transmission. Is this the quattro? This is a 2.8Quattro tip...<p>3- When I come to a stop with moderate pressure on the brake pedal, I hear/feel a sort of grinding sound. A quick look shows that there is plenty of pad left, I only have 15K miles so far... Could my Thunderhill excursions have caused this? (btw, I did have some boil-over of brake fluid)<p>-PhilJ<p>

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKES IN MY 99 1.8T, I PLAN ON GETTING THESE PROBLEMS FIEXED WHEN I GO IN FOR MY 5000 MILE SERVICE, WHICH IS IN TWO WEEKS
