I believe that was taken at Sears Point, on the "open track day" when it was POURING RAIN for the majority of the day. The sun peeked out, and we switched to race tires for the last session of the day, I noticed my stock sport rims on the car in the photo, and the car's covered in raindrops.....

Either you were doing a late apex or you just flat out missed it. You were 3-4ft from the rumble strip. Hehe.
