Now that the A4 has been available for some time, I was hoping some of you here could answer questions about how the cars are holding up. I'm curious about how tight the cars are after several years and hard use. How severe are the squeaks and rattles? Did stiffer springs contribute significantly?

Also, how does the drivetrain hold up to extra power? I'm considering a second hand 1.8tqm and would like to know how problematic typical wear items like clutches and transmissions are in cars modified beyond the typical chip upgrade... specifically from owners of GT25 or bigger turbo'd cars.

I understand the quattro driveline is pretty robust but would like some first hand experiences from owners who have used their cars for open lapping, drivers schools, and even {gasp} occasional drag racing.
