Any racing geeks should hustle on down to the San Jose Convention center tomorrow. The Embedded Systems Conference is on.
Why is that interesting you say?
Well, because Infineon (big embedded company) is a sponsor of one of the R8s (#8), and the R8 IS THERE!
You can look at it, and probably touch it (I didn't dare). Heck, if you are a big Infineon customer, they'd probably let you sit in it!
Also, Infineon has made a cool (free) poster with a huge R8 across it, and the words "Last year Audi won the RESPECT. This year they WON envy." (weird caps theirs)
Yes, Audi hasn't managed to put out a poster (how about the triple win at Le Mans?), but Infineon did.
I got two posters, I'll be putting one up in my office and one at home.
With any slight amount of hustling, you can get into the conference free. So get your butt on down there tomorrow (show closes after that).
