The crew is in Atlanta due to some bad luck on the highway, but said the car ran strong-- from last (APR tweeking the software in the pits) to 10th to 6th overall by the 3.5 hour mark. Th last pit included a brake pad change and lost a few laps to the field and placed 24th overall.
They were running SGS with the Vettes and Vipers-- not the GS class which included the Camaros and Firebirds. SGS allows brake mods, GS uses stocks.
The event was 4 hours long, drivers were Don Istook, John Rutherford IV and Steve Hooks.
Next event is Speedvision at Atlanta.<p><a href="http://home.earthlink.net/~palmerj/"><img SRC="http://home.earthlink.net/~palmerj/sig.gif" BORDER=2></a>
