So I am working on the prototype brake cooling grill and ductwork. I got the first part done. Now I have to figure out how to duct the air to the brakes. Heck, I might get enough air to take care of the brake dust issue also. I am planning to construct the beast out of fiberglass thin plywood, and make it removable and non destructive to the car. I am hoping to use the three screws holding the plastic oil cover to secure it to the car. I will have to see if they are strong enough to support it.

I am working on a similar idea for my A4, but using the vents at the bottom of the factory airdam. I am going to channel the air INSIDE the cover, als owith fiberglass, and then dump it on the iside edge of the rotors, and perhaps behind the spindles on the calipers as well.<p>99.5 1.8Tqms Laser Red

Ah well, prototype #2 to be done by November. Gotta love fiberglass mmmm, smells good too :)
