After chipping my S4, I noticed how sloppy the engine mounting system on car was. There was a shudder in the driveline I noticed at lower RPM in high load conditions. Also you could feel the slop in the driveline when you didn't feather the gas just right. This could be felt as a thump when taking your foot on and off the gas. I own a foreign car repair facility. After racking my brains to determine the cause of these problems, I have designed a support brace to stabilize the driveline. This brace, improves shifting, eliminates "driveline shudder" and keeps driveline properly aligned in hard launch scenarios. Those of you that drag your S4 will really appreciate the smooth yet solid feeling you will have with the brace installed. Regular driving is enhanced with a more connected feeling as you work through the gears. These braces will be initially be built on a per order basis. But as you folks start to realize what a vast improvement it makes, and as long as nobody tries to rip off my design, I will contract with a larger manufacturer to produce them. Let me know if your interested. I promise your satisfaction. Thanks ,Richard

Why wouldn't Audi AG have done this? How do you know it won't produce some damage on the car, either initially or eventually?<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3821"><br><br>

Audi did not see a need for more strength. They did not design the engine mounts to handle 370 footpounds of torque. Chipping the car makes driveline shudder more noticable. As for damage, The mount promotes proper alignment and allows movement. This = less wear on driveline components on hard launches due to misalignment . I have had my brace in for 15k and it shifts as crisp as a M3 . No pics yet . Working on finish.
