I was reading a little on how ESP works by comparing things like wheel spin, accelerometer readings, etc to "stored known-to-be-safe values"...
What happens when you change the car's suspension or tires and the limits are really a lot farther out? (ESP kicks in too early, that is)
What happens when you upgrade/change the brakes and braking characteristics are drastically changed? (ESP applies the brakes too hard?)
Does the ESP system need recalibration, or would you just drive with it off all the time?
I have a 2000 model, so I don't have to "worry" about this, really -- it just got me thinking :-)
Anyone have any ideas?
