I want to start doing some track events and really get into it, but I have no idea where to begin. Is there anywhere near Boston, where you guys go, or where people you know go to learn to race their Audi's? I want to get good, and maybe become enough of a track junkie to start doing real racing a few years down the line....(well maybe that's a bit of a pipe dream, but who knows, maybe, right?) Thanks for all of your help in advance! And yes, I wil be getting some Bilstein's to go with my Eurosport Springs!
99.5 1.8TQTip - 17" Avus, Eurosports, SmarTires, Debadged, Polished Tips

I was looking for something to read the other day at Barnes & Noble, and came upon this book. When I mentioned it to Tom Smith, a well known GS SCCA driver, he said he's had it for a few years, and always uses it!

SECRETS OF SOLO RACING
By Henry A. Watts
$14.94
ISBN#0-9620573-1-2

This book is good for both begginers and old timers alike! And it even covers Time Trials (also called Solo I)!

Had him for the first session. Excellent instructor! I took him out for a spin. :-)

www.quattroclubusa.org/ and click on Northeast Quattro in the local chapters section. We will be having another event that has not been posted yet in August at the Glen, the 28th and 29th.People that were on waiting lists for our previous events have priority, but I'm sure there would be room for your level if your interested. You should be prompt however, there are many first time people that want to do this. This is probably the last opening for a beginner in the northeast this year. Next year will be Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, and hopefully a newly repaved Tremblant.
