View Full Version : Do I have to be a member of NASA to go to sears point on the 3rd? Sean T 05-22-2000, 07:47 AM Sean T 05-22-2000, 07:58 AM Sharon 05-22-2000, 08:22 AM Yes, you have to be a NASA member...it's not a big fee and is good for a year. You usually pay for that when you do your entry for the event (which you can do via their website). Pre-fab magnetic numbers can be bought at performance shops (like Frey's) or ordered through a number of sources (check the back sections of racing magazines, e.g., Grassroots Motorsports). OR, go to any sign shop (there's a TAP Plastics near me) and just get some white magnetic material in bulk and trace/cut numbers out with a font you like. If you want them for autocross, I think you want them at least 8" high and stroke thickness of 1". See you next weekend at the Oakland AutoX?<p>Sharon '00 S4 <a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=4559"><br> <img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ImolaKinesisSMALL.jpg"<br> Sean T 05-22-2000, 08:26 AM Sharon said: > See you next weekend at the Oakland AutoX? Definitely! I'm totally hooked after 1 autox. My obsession with my car has reached an all time high. It's unhealthy:) Sean |
