I want to read up on the course b/4 I get out there Aug 14th with all you experienced drivers.
I have an excellent manual "Intro to Performance Driving" that explains "turn by turn" the courses at Sears Point and Laguna Seca, but only had a very sketchy map of the short course at ThrillHill.
I understand we're on the "long course". I've never even seen the place before.....
Anyone have a good track map and maybe just maybe notes or the turn by turn scenario?
Don't worry, I'm in group ONE so I won't be meandering all over the track with people actually looking for speed, but I want to read up whatever I can first....
ALSO! Just read the flyer from NASA and I see a track event in mid-Sept that allows us to run the course BACKWARDS.... wow, that would be awesome! Anyone registering for that event yet?
Christine Scholl
99.5 2.8QMSC
Corey do you know which turns constitute the long v. short course? Steve S. says short course this weekend for street school.
KJK 91M5-mechanic lost my cluth yesterday when bleeding the brakes--if not fixed by today I think I may kill him.

If you go past turn #7...along that back straight and then turn at turn #8...go thru #8A..and then enter the main straight a bit down...THEN..it is actually the 1.9 mile course....the one that turns in a #7 is actually slightly shorter than 1.9 miles. You learn something new every day.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
