i dunno what series, but there were A4s, BMWs, vaxhalls, etc. Rnnning on a closed track (not rally type racing)
I noticed that the Audis had a front bumper with a flat spot for a euro licence plate.
Questions:
1.. What year vehicle do they start with?
2.. howcum i have never seen a street car with the flat spot on the front bumper?
3. how modified are these vehicles, and what motor do they start with (1.8, 2.6?)

thankx

1996 a4 2.8 qm
The 98 STW Cup in Germany had A4s that were multicolored...Red in the front...
and Blue and White in the back. It would have said TOPWARE on the front in
big letters.
The 98 Australian Touring Cars this year were Silver (I think)
The 98 British Touring Cars were Silver too (I think)....they were in 97 and 96 also.
In past years the Australian ones were Red with the work "ORIX" on the
front hood.
Did I help?
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

Most of those A4 touring cars with the euo bumpers have an "A4" emblem inside that area. If there were BMW, Audi and Vauxhall then it was definitely Touring Car, most likely BTCC, I was watching that yesterday too. If you looked closely at the entrance to the pits at Silverstone there were 2 S8's!!!
Chris

The customary colours:
Audi - Red/White or Silver/Red
Renault - Blue/Yellow or Silver/Blue
Volvo - Lots of color combos, esp. weird in Austrailia
I have a listing lying around here somewhere, but obviously series featuring privateered cars aren't included.
The A4's run are usually heavily modified. Remember, five-valve is illegal in some leagues and Quattro is illegal in others.
20v head, 4cyl, turbo, 2.0L, Q, 500+hp
16v head, 4cyl, turbo, 1.9L, Q, 400+hp
16v head, 4cyl, turbo, 2.0L, FWD, 450+hp
These are the basic setups.
Cameron

The two S8's are medical vehicles driven by doctors. It's funny that they banned the quattro so it doesn't kick all butts on track, but they expect quattro to save their butts.
Kevin C.
Silver 1.8TQM

A4 Club Vancouver
