Us folks here in Utah are thinking about doing a little driving adventure on the Salt Flats, you know the same ones where they set all the speed records. We want to have a winter/snow driving event but.....................do salt flats accumulate snow? Do they freeze? Off the top of my head I wouldn't think so. Snow hits salt, snow melts...done. If this is true it's to bad. Any insight is appreciated. I guess I'll just have to drive out there. Of course this spring we will be having the RMAC time trials out there.

How cool of a photo would an A4 going about 90 across the Salt Flats with about 4 inches of snow on em. Hmmm?
