Hey- an early warning...
The Precision Auto Sports group is hosting another event in March. The PAS coordinators are all Audi fanatics and there are several Audis running in the event.
Only $275 per car for about 200 miles of 'at speed' driving.
If you're interested, email me and I'll pass along the info.
We're 4 months away and slots are already getting filled.
DO IT!

If you're lucky, you might catch a ride in The Beast. A 93 S4, seriously modified, and estimated at 400hp.
Anyhow, if you're intimidated by the prospect of zinging around curves at high speed, don't be. I was scared silly the first time, and the second time I was nervous the first session too. You'll have a professional instructor with you through the entire weekend if need be. If you're driving well, you will get solo'ed. Max cars on the track at once the last time was about 20. That's not much on a 1.8 mile course. Not TOO much bunching up of cars, well unless you drive like JayP and just catch the next car too soon...
You'll get a ton of track time too. I clocked up 200 miles at the last event over 2 days. I got about the same the first event as well.
See you at the track, and hopefully only in my rearview mirror ;)
98.5 Wett RamAir'ed Santorin Blue 2.8QMS
Weren't you there for all of the trouble that GTI got into for running the majority of the track on 3 wheels?
Maybe by then the green monster will ride again :-)
Eric is trying to get his car up and ready for the event.
I still think I'll be getting the 'pass' sign...
At least not until the last run of the weekend, and I was in the biggest car out there. At that point we were all stuck behind that PITA Z3. As for March, it will be a close one with my $20 Kmart specials and your R1s :-)
Don't forget Rick. I do believe he has every intention of taking the bronze beast. He is more likely to make it there than me. The green monster will probably be kept off the road until the spring. I would like to take it though, the Enterprise was too big and too powerful for that track. I am curious to see what Scott will bring.
Todd W
