ok well I've been to autocross in my old Z car and they were fun .. but I have some questions about the A4.. ok 1) When approaching a corner 2 options I can see slow down and do not down shift.. or slow down before and while slowing down shift and then let up on the clutch while also while slowing down.. and then back on the gas through the corner? Hmm or try to push the brake/gas/clutch at the same time to get the revs up for the car doesn't jerk when I down shift and release the clutch.. In other words.. I am looking for tips to drive the car smoothly at autocross..

Well for me, IF I still had a 5spd, I would use heel n toe to brake and downshift at the same time before the turn DEPENDING on the type of turn it is. Actually, in AutoX you are sometimes BETTER OFF to leave it in the gear you are in - for smoothness.
