I've got a 1.8TQSTip on order and have a pair Quarts I'd like to use. They are 6.5in diameter(round) with a little tweeter thing suspended in the middle.;-) <p>Otherwise they go in the wiffs car.<p>thanks,<br>mike

MBQuart has mounting adapters for 5 1/4" speakers for the front doors and the rear deck. These allow a direct fit for the Autobahn and Refernz series 5 1/4" speakers. I was told (by Brian Sherman of MBQuart USA) that 6 1/2" speakers will not fit directly and a custom mounting adapter would be required. If you're going to go that route, I suppose they would only fit the rear deck opening. Good luck!<br>

Let them build custom housings for them. Its a bad idea to mount quality Mid-bass onto the door panel anyway 'cause they're too heavy. I use a set of Boston Pros 6.5" in the doors with tweeters in th stock location in my Avant. Your car will smell like silicone for a few days but the results are WAY better than mounting to the door panel.<p>Damon
