What gauges are two dash buttons wide? I know there is a boost gauge in that form factor. What other instrumentation? What company has a standard gauge size like that?
I have a catalog put out by a company called Summit Racing - purely stuff for "Murrican car racing (drags, roundy-round, etc.), but they have about 7 pages of gauges. Smallest I saw was a 2" round analog style. Can check co. out at www.summitracing.com, prob. get free catalog (about 280 pages).
Looked thru J.C Whitney, all I saw was a digital compass. Might check Radio Shack stores, also.

Well, I should be mounting an Autometer boost/vac gauge in my A4 on Thursday. I got the inspiration from DonP's (suspended) boost gauge project (check his website).
Anyway, there are gauges out there that measures 46mm - smaller than the blanks! I find that HKS is the only that makes them... and they are go for approx. $100! So, you can either custom fab behind the console (lots of cutting and trimming) or pay the $50 premium for a smaller gauge (less cutting and trimming).
E-mail me for additional info.
Cris

I think if you search "Finished" "Project" "Digital Boost Gauge". I think this person goes by the JD initials.... it is a digital boost gauge, red LED readouts... he even posted pics. The downside... I think he said he paid $195 for it!!!
Cris
