Is there any way to provide more airflow to the intercooler using the pre-existing System S air dam ports as the beginning of a duct track?
Anyone experimented or looked at this possbility?
Cameron

View Full Version : System S - The air dam to become more than styling... Cameron 10-13-1998, 11:23 PM Is there any way to provide more airflow to the intercooler using the pre-existing System S air dam ports as the beginning of a duct track?
Anyone experimented or looked at this possbility?
Cameron Cathleen 10-14-1998, 04:07 PM Yep, it is possible.
BTW, the S system bumper cover is not only sweet-looking styling but it adds very noticeable downforce and stability at higher speeds. Have you noticed? I 'tested' it prior to the install of my new suspension and wheel/tire setup so I know it wasn't those factors affecting the "feel". Wait until you test it out on a track at 90-130mph. in a long police-free straight, oooooh yeah!
-Cathleen Oscar 10-15-1998, 12:42 PM . Cathleen 10-15-1998, 01:39 PM I have 'em. I'm calling to find a scanner.
So you can all see my squatty car :)
Kind of reminds me of the Tazmanian Devil. It's aggressive, squatty and red. :0
-C. Oscar 10-15-1998, 01:59 PM .
