I am ready to buy a cat back exhaust for my car and guess what - they are not available for my car. I have a 98.5 2.8 Fwd and having a heck of a time trying to find a cat back system that I like. I have contact LLTek for Brullen, Stebro directly, and Denon Performance for Scorpion. All came up with the same answer. Well, actually, Stebro said that they may have something available by Feb. The other option is Klasse, but I like a dual tip look. Does anyone have additional sources/contacts besides these manufacturers. I better have some good news soon or will turn into a Christmas Grinch :-)

Why don't you just buy the Klasse exhaust and have a shop install a dual tip.. There are lots of them out there.. Just a suggestion...
Dmak 1.8TQMS

Custom works just fine. Produces a deep throaty sound (truthfully too loud for me, but the car seems to breathe much better). Also with a custom exhaust you will save some money . I only paid about 390 for mine.
Chris K
98.5 1.8TQAS TAP STAGE II, catback, high flow downpipe

here is a possible solution. buy the exhaust that you like, have it installed at a custom place, then have the custom place remove the suitcase and do a cat back custom section to the new exhaust that you have purchased. if you can afford it, go for a remus, they make a nice exhaust for Fwd A4's. also, that guy had a good point about just getting a dual tip installed, custom exhaust places can do just about anything you want due to the nature of metal- malleability.
