Also, any other tires you'd recommend that would give me comparable wet/dry traction? I'm looking to get the wheel as far to outer edge as possible, is it better to go with the 9" ET35 or the 8" ET30?

View Full Version : Gary any fit problems running 19 X 9 ET35 RS6 reps with F1 GSD-3's on my 04 A6 4.2? 4.2 Dreamer 05-26-2006, 06:46 PM Also, any other tires you'd recommend that would give me comparable wet/dry traction? Gary@Tirerack.com 05-30-2006, 05:12 AM The largest size that we've tried is 19X8.5" ET30, so I'm unsure on the 19X9 for clearance. We typically use 255/35R19 for a tire size. A comparable tire would be the Michelin PS2.

Tires

4.2 Dreamer 05-30-2006, 07:03 AM Wouldn't a 30 series tire be a better choice so as to keep rolling diameter the same as my 255/40/17? Regarding the PS2's, how does tire noise, wet/dry traction compare between the two? How about cost? |
