View Full Version : Do you drive at night with the fog lights always ON or OFF? They seem to be ON no matter what. RobS 12-14-1998, 11:26 AM It bugs me when people use thier fog lights under normal driving conditions, especially if they are colored. RobS 12-14-1998, 11:28 AM RobS 12-14-1998, 11:31 AM they are not distracting and are aimed properly Jake 12-14-1998, 01:13 PM GaryJ 12-14-1998, 04:25 PM The lows suck, but adding the fogs doesn't seem to do anything but light up the sides of the road (like they're supposed to). Why waste the bulbs and generate additional heat by having the fogs on all the time (with no fog)? I would think it would be better to upgrade the low beam bulbs. Is there another reason to have them on? Corey S 12-14-1998, 05:17 PM Wesley Walls 12-14-1998, 05:41 PM As they're integrated into the standard lamp housing, their "angle" by way of position keeps them from typically blinding any oncoming traffic. I can't believe that you guys wouldn't drive with them on...if they don't drastically improve lighting, there must be something wrong.
Wesley Walls
'98 1.8tms Andrew C. 12-14-1998, 05:41 PM Bill Shaffer 12-14-1998, 06:50 PM Oscar 12-15-1998, 06:28 AM Corey S 12-15-1998, 06:51 AM I'm not exactly sure about the beam pattern, but the fog lights definitely illuminate to the side of quite a bit.
I don't think this is really a problem for oncoming traffic, however, because it seems as though they're
pointed down quite a bit.
Corey
Wett 97 1.8TQM |
