I'd like to buy a set of tires for the winter/spring when driving to Colorado. Living in Dallas so will only be used in Dec-mid March at most. Would you rec. an All Season or a winter tire? Also, are Pilot Alpin PA2 or Dunlop SPm3 even an option for my car 18" or only the Pirelli W240 snow sports?

If you are going to have a dedicated set for winter, they may as well be winter tires.

Its a bit early for snows yet, so I'm not sure what will be available for this upcoming season. Based on last years info, the Dunlop Winter Sport M3 and Blizzak LM22 were popular and strong performing winter tires in that size.
