Alright, I'm sick of my nice shiny wheels being blackened by the %$#@ brake dust. It's time to get rid of them for better ones. Can anybody out there tell me what their recommended brands are? Any approximate costs would be helpful as well. Thansk in advance.
Rob 1.8 TQT w/ toner-covered wheels (ugh)

I got them at Clair for $95 + shipping (I got a REALLY good deal; Mark was in a good mood). They currently are on sale for $60 front and $50 rear (still well worth the money). I had them installed at the dealer for $81 an axle; from the feedback I got from the forum, this is an acceptable labor charge. No squeaks and more importantly NO DUST!!! Stopping power is the same, you just have to give it a little more pedal. I like it, as the brakes are easier to modulate now.
CraigB
(no affiliation with Clair or Rofren; just a satisfied customer)

Clair Parts

I have the Raybestos front and rear on my Avant. Stopping power seems to be the same from stock and don't for the the lifetime warrenty. I don't have to buy another set of brake pads ever!
NeilM
I will have to pay, to have them installed.

Brake Parts Warehouse
