Taking delivery on a new A8L and would liike to know what 19" rims would provide a wider lip (deeper dish?) than the stock Audi 19s which are flush to the sidewall. I guess I'm just used to the deeper dish look of the OZ Futuras I have on my current 740i. I also think that a deeper dish protects the centers better. Any thoughts? I sure like those RH 3-piece 20-inchers I see every now and again in A8L photos.

The lip issue is more about cosmetics than any type of structural concerns. Due to the higher offset on the A8L you won't find wheels with quite as much lip depth as with the lower offset 740i fitments.

The largest lip I found in 19" for the 04 A8l was the Moda R8, with a fairly substantial 55mm lip.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&amp;url=/wheels/index.jsp">wheels</a></li></ul>
