Has anyone tried the 30v supercharger kit?
It is supposed to put out 280hp! Is it available yet. I scoured the archieves and found that a possible test version might have shown up at an ealier North East a4 event. Has any one bought one. If so, how much was it, and what do you think? will this cause undue wear on the engine and ultimatly shorten its lifespan?

According to Tony Ricci, the finishing touches are being placed on the kit as we speak. Last time I spoke to him, he seemed ecstatic about the performance of the kit on his car. I think you should hear something about availability very soon.

Like I said when this post ran last week, once they get the piston fragments out of their nose hair they'll be offering one of these beauties up to the general public. I can just hear the ads now...

"Okay! Step right up! Be the first person on your block to give your hood that rugged, I just threw a piston through my top end look. Come on, who needs to get 50,000 miles out of a motor anyway?! Real men buy a new car every two years! It whooshes,it slooshes, it whines, it vibrates, it'll make driving interesting again."
Disclaimer: This product may cause vibration, overheating, reduced engine life, reduced drivetrain life, faster brake wear, faster tire wear, spontaneous expulsion of various parts necessary for continued operation of this vehicle, warranty loss, excessive towing fess, excessive head scratching, leading to excessive head banging, grubbing rides from friends, and the unexpected transformation of your A4 into a 3,000 pound paperweight. Individual results may vary. Actually we have no freaking idea how your car will behave since we only bench tested the product on one engine for about 20 minutes. Oh, and did we say no warranty?
