View Full Version : A/S tires 225/45/17. What to choose, if I do not want Michelin.

Ok because of the price (and I do not want to support France :) ). I do not want to by MIchelin. What to choose from the rest of the ultra hight performace all season tires. I am looking for A/S (dry, wet, light snow) handling first. I live in NY.

and BTW, what "SL load rating" means.

SL simply means standard load.

My top pics in order of handling are Pzero Nero M+S, Sumitomo HTR+, and Conti Extreme Contact. If I were to put them in order of expected snow traction capability, the list would be reversed, with the Contis being the best.
