Probably not, but just wanted to check.
Btw, the tires are 235/45-17 Dunlops SP Sport 9090.

It may also depend on the angle of entry; it looks like it's almost parallel to the sidewall.
Is there a certain type of patch you used? I know walmart sells several types.

...which could make it weaker. Take it to a tire shop so they can patch it properly, if it can be (as Gary said).

I had a similar hole, no nail that I could find just a small puncture. It was near the sidewall of my right front tire, maybe even a little closer than yours. I moved the wheel to the right rear after they patched it at my local gas station, and it's been about 2 weeks since with no problems. I have been kind of reluctant to throw the car around but everything I've read has said that if the patch holds initially, it will hold permanently and there's not really a risk of it going later. I hope that's true - can anyone confirm?
